The History of Henry IV, with the Battle of Shrewsbury Between the King and Lord Henry Percy, Surnamed Hotspur, Together with the Humorous Conceits of Sir John Falstaff

An adaptation of William Shakespeare’s chronicle play, focusing on the fragile legitimacy of dynastic power and the rebellion leading to the Battle of Shrewsbury. Staged within a semi-modern linguistic and formal design, the production centers on the psychological friction between kingly responsibility, political betrayal, and the comedic escapism of Falstaff.
