The Animal Pyramid
Divided into four parts corresponding to the animals from Katarzyna Kozyra’s installation, the performance rejects a documentary approach to reconstruct the space of Grzegorz Kowalski’s avant-garde university studio. The staging juxtaposes the realities of the 1990s Polish transition with a contemporary inquiry into individual freedom, ethics, and the solitude of the artist.
