A Stone Sky Instead of Stars
Produced for the 69th anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising, the performance draws from the diaries of civilians hiding in underground cellars during the conflict. The staging sets aside military martyrology to focus on the claustrophobia of confinement, physical memory, and the contemporary resonance of collective trauma.
